MR-3855 is an OES front magnetic shock for the 2016-2022 Audi TT/TT RS and TTS (8S). The magnetically controlled shock from Arnott provides the same highly adaptive ride as the OE. The monotube damper is filled with magnetorheological fluid which is a syntheric hydrocarbon oil that contains easily magnetized iron particles. The two electromagnetic coils inside the damper instantly change the bonds between the magnetized iron particles altering the viscosity and stiffness of the suspension when turned on. Arnotts new universal magentic ride Audi front shock connects to the vehicles ECU with no modifications.
